Stinger Robot Kit Launched!!!
Modified By jason on 9/4/2007 10:51:18 AM)

After many months of design, prototyping, re-design, and finally production, we are very pleased to announce the availability of our new Stinger Robotics Kit.

You can read all about it on the website:

         Stinger Web Page

We have also spent a lot of time putting together an Interactive 3D PDF assembly instructions for our customers.

         Stinger Assembly Manual

We have many cool applications and accessories coming in the following weeks for the Stinger, so stay tuned!!!

While we have worked hard to ensure we have dotted all of our 'I's, and crossed all of our 'T's, please don't hesitate to let us know if we've missed something, or if it can be improved.

Re: Stinger Robot Kit Launched!!!
I bought the stinger kit with serializer. I can get it to respond using Hyperterm and the commands in the serializer user guide, but that's about it.

It would be useful if there were some documentation on how to really do something with this kit.

I've spent that last two weeks reading the documentation on the Microsoft Robotics Studio. I'm not really seeing how I'm going to guess how to write an app by reverse engineering the LEGO NXT examples.    I have the serializer services installed in MSRS.  What needs to be in the manifest to just run the motors?  How about an example of how to run even one motor using the keyboard?  If I could see one example or sample that communicated with the serializer I could take it from there.
