So, it's not working w/ RS-232 module? Does it still work w/ the USB module?
Did you happen to reverse the polarity at the power plug?
It sounds like:
Under hyperterm, when you hit the 'Reset' button, do you see a 'Wait', then 'Load' pop up? Do you see anything?
If you're seeing the 'Wait' then 'Load' you can attempt to reflash the firmware (see Serializer User's Guide), or you can send it in to us, and we can do it for you.
If you fried the onboard PIC somehow, then we charge $10 to replace it, plus whatever shipping you prefer. We have a 1 week turn around time to replace the PIC.
Check and see if you get the bootloader messages, and if so, try to upgrade the firmware. If that doesn't help, then send it in to us, and we'll figure out what's wrong w/ it.
