Hello Cedric,
I had similar problems, but was able to resolve it be increasing the intercharater delay setting in Hyperterm. It will require many minutes for the upload to the Serializer to complete after increasing this delay value, but it should complete successfully.
Also, be certain that you have configured Hyperterm exactly as described in the "Upgrading the Firmware" section of the Serializer documentation.

Increasing the intercharacter delay and also line delay will help. This is required because of the way the bootloader flow control works.
If you're using a USB to RS-232 connection, you will definitely want to increase the delay. Also, make sure you have at least 6V+ applied to the Serializer while upgrading the firmware. Anything less might not allow the EEPROM to be programmed correctly.
Best Regards!
Also, you should be able to upgrade to a previous version of the firmware, as the bootloader doesn't get overwritten when you upgrade the firmware.
I don't know what will happen if you send another file in place of the firmware. If you can't get it upgraded, send it in and we'll fix it for you, and send it back.
Thanks for your help.
I tried to upgrade it many times without success and I am sure that the parameters of the connection are ok.
Unfortunatelly I only have one computer with an USB adapter and so I cannot make sure that it is coming from the computer.
I think the only option I still have is to send the controller to you. Could you please tell me the address where I can send the controller and tell me how do you want to proceed for sending it back to me? I live in France and so I guess I will have to pay something for the delivery?
Best regards.
