access to the port Com5 is denied with .Net sample code?

I'm seeing that there aren't a lot of answers to questions in this forum.

But I'll try again. Does anyone have any insight into this? The program compiles just fine. But it doesn't have permission to access the Com port that the serializer is on.

This entire forum is deprecated. Could you please post on our new forums?

How did you navigate to this forum? Hopefully, not from our website. :) If you did, please let me know how, and I will fix it.
