I was hoping that I could integrate an accelerometer/gryoscope pcb on the Serializer. Since I am more of a programmer (not an electrical engineer) - I was wondering if that was possible AND if you can make a suggestion to for a 2 DOF gryo/acclerometer board that you have used.

Sorry to take so long getting back to you...We've been swamped...
We should be able to integrate any sensor into the Serializer firmware, so long as it provides an I2C, Analog, or PWM type interface.
We don't have any products that need them, but it would be cool to add it. If you have you in mind, let us know. I'll get Ringo to look around and see if we can find a cheap one, that'll be easy to interface.

The only place I could find one that was "designed" (read affordable) for robotics hobbists was on robotshop.ca.
I'll try to get more information from them. I'll keep everyone updated on this thread if I try it.
