Unfortunately, I see advantages to doing it both ways. The solution Jason posted has the advantage that you don't need to stall your main thread waiting for a read to occur. This could take significant time for some sensors like the SRF08. By using his solution, you could call the update early, read a different polled sensor, then read the on demand sensor. This would be more efficient use of time. Alternatively, you could poll the sensors on separate threads, so that you stall only one thread, but that could run into conflicts depending on how the sensor objects work.

Hello I have a request,well it's more like a question I am looking for the Icop 6016 CPU controller but I had no luck finding it.Will this web site be stocking them soon?
