Linux?
I love the eBox-2300 Jump Start Kit hardware features. It is an incredible buy. Is there any way to run Linux on it?

Re: Linux?

Eric,

The eBox-2300 is a great product.  ICOP does have some some Linux support for their Vortex86 line of chips.

However, the last I heard, they were going to be concentrating more on WinCE.  I don't know how much more support you would get, other than what they have on their site at the linke above.   We can't offer you support for it either, since we drink the Microsoft coolaid, and we simply don't have the time. LoL :)

Jim Wilson might have more insight into how easy it is to get Linux up and running on the Vortex86 chips...
