The IOWizard is used when additional I/O capabilities are required. The IOWizard features an I2C interface that allows users to query 5 analog inputs and 10 digital I/O lines. The default I2C slave address is 100d (0x64h), and it can be changed to a value between 100d and 110d (0x6Eh).

The IOWizard can be used to expand the I/O of our Serializer WL Robot Controller, as well as any other I2C Master device. Control of the IOWizard via the Serializer can be achieved using the Generic I2C protocol.

The state of the I/O lines on the IOWizard can be saved to eeprom, so that they survive a power cycle. The IOWizard also includes a power and heartbeat LED for quick user status.
