| Last December, we refreshed the Traxster Robot Kit design to improve several aspects of it's desing. The redesign addressed the following topics: - Refresh overall look and feel
- Change to use a more durable two tone orange/gray/black powder coating for the chassis/belly pan/drive disks.
- Remove unneeded holes, and add useful ones
- Replace solid rear axle with two independent ones. This greatly improves ease of assembly, and removes requirement to adjust play w/ spacers.
- Locate batteries beneath chassis to provide more room for accessories on top of chassis.
- Add holes for Line Following Sensors
- Add hole for Bluetooth Module Antenna
- Enlarge drive disk bolt holes to ease assembly
- Add holes for Push Button I/O Board

They just got here yesterday! And they are cool!  The new Traxster is quite a bit simpler to assemble too, as a main goal of mine was to reduce as much assembly hassle as possible. The tolerances for the old Traxster were too tight, and it was sometimes difficult to bolt the drive disks to the drive hubs. The new powder coat finish is a lot more durable than the anodized finish of the previous Traxster (I wouldn't have thought that until I actually had a prototype powder coated, which changed my mind). I also had the drive disks powder coated, and it turns out that since the finish is a lot slicker than the previous chromate finish, there's less friction in the drive tracks! LoL So, overall the bot is more quiet also. We have enough bolts right now for almost 20 Traxsters, but they are spoken for. More bolts/nuts are arriving on Wednesday, so we should be able to ship more of the new Traxsters out then.  The new Traxsters will be on the website Sunday night. Thanks for asking! Best Regards!
