Hi Jim;

I am so sory that I forget to say thank for all your help. Your advise was really helpfull but we are still triying to control serializer from e-box. But we are so busy now. We all have 6 projects which is uses e-box.

Now we able to control robots by serializer connected directly to the laptop by rs232 which is converted to usb port. We can run it whitout e-box perfectly. But we still need a cable. We would like control it by wireless.

Hello,

I have enclosed a sample subproject for the eBox WiFi driver. Just extract the ZIP file into your OS Design tree and use the Project | Add New Subproject option to add it to your workspace.

The driver binaries (.DLL and .MAP files) were not included in the ZIP file and must be copied to the target\x86 subdirectory in the subproject directory tree.

If you have all of the dependent wireless modules included in your OS Design, you should be able to reboot the eBox with your newly built OS image and see the Wireless Zero Config dialog box automatically appear. This dialog is used to select the Access Point for the connection from the eBox.

Hi jason; first I would like say thanx for your help.

I also tried your advise but I couldnt see any wifi connection properties where you discribe ( >>start >>setting >>dial up connection) There is only one connection which is network cable conneciton by RS232. We able to control e-box serial ports by rs232 cable.

We have started over from beginning now. All drivers and applications intalled again which is you write previous, But still wifi connection is not succesfull.

We have only one week to show our robots in an international organization. There is only one competetion which is working on Robotics connection whit e-box in Turkey.We definitely get all attention at this organization If we able to control all devises by e-box. So we would be making your advertise too.

Well we are triying to do all steps again to make sure not skiped any steps. Could you please write all information again.

You should be able to go to start->settings->network & dial up connections, and configure your WiFI connection as need with your wireless router.

You can also click on the network icon (that looks like an upside down 'T') to gain access to other configuration properties. If the WiFi card is properly recognized, I'm pretty sure you should see two network icons in the system tray, one for ethernet, and one for WiFi.

I did all steps as you write by immedatialy. I install wifi driver to the windows ce on my local harddrive. I also run it whit image boot at ebox.

I was waithing when ı do it there will be automaticly connection between ebox and mylaptop by wireless but ı have just understand it was a funny dream. :D

So ı have to make configuration in ebox wifi tools. Could you please write here how to make that configuration. I am waiting your reply. Thanx....

For those of you who have purchased a WiFi Kit for your eBox-2300 from us, here is link to the Win CE 6.0 driver required to use this peripheral. The MSI installer will install the drivers in the appropriate location on your hard drive. You will then need to include the driver in your CE image build, and build/deploy a new CE image.
