I've had the serializer for a whole 8 hours so excuse me if this is a silly question.

I'm hooked up to two servos and both are moving fine as long as their are not obstructed. However, if I set either of the servo's values to something that is obstructed (~40 because at that degree, the servo is obstructed and can't move anymore.) Every now and then, the serializer will reboot and I loose connection and have to rest power to the device.

I should also mention that the servos that i am using are probably 10 or more years old and I am connected via USB and am only using the terminal at this point.

When you mean obstructed, do you mean a load applied to them?

Is your battery fully charged?  Or are you using a wall based power supply?  If so, what is the current supply rating?  You really need to have a power supply (battery or wall wart) w/ a current rating 4A or greater, otherwise, the servos/motors, etc. will pull too much power, and cause issues w/ the power supply, which obviously would reset the Serializer.

Best Regards!

You were right. The battery I am using is only 3 Amps.

My only issue now, (until i get a larger battery) is that he serializer doesn't completely reboot when it gets insufficient power. I have to press reset or flip the power switch to reconnect.

Do you know any way around this?

Thanks,
Ty

No work around...just get a good power supply and be done with it.
