| Hi, I have a Serializer WL 2.0 with firmware version 1.5.2 and one of my motor is not working. It runs back, but not forward. The other one works fine. The red led of this motor is not blinking also. After a while the power supply start fluctuates rapidly. Any suggestions on what to do? Thanks, Eduardo Mendes

| Hi Eduardo, What command are you using? PWM? Digo? Mogo? For the one motor port that doesn't seem to work, do you see the LED turn green for one direction, and red for the other direction? You can verify this by typing in 'pwm 1:50<enter>', then 'stop<enter>', then 'pwm 1:-50<enter>', if the motor port that's not working is 1, else use '2' for the motor id. You don't have to have the motor connected (in fact, remove the motor, to ensure that there's no internal short). Best Regards,

Hi Jason,
I'm using the Mogo command. The LED of the motor 1 does not turn red. The problem is not the motor, because I inverted it, and the command that does not respond is still “mogo 1:50” (I get no answer at all). The commands “mogo 1:-50”, “mogo 2:50” and “mogo 2:-50” works fine.
Thanks,
Eduardo Mendes

| It sounds like a hardware failure, specifically the h-bridge chip. What shape is the Serializer in? Have there been many people using it? Has it been abused (e.g. reversed polarity, or someone used the board to drive motor overrated for the board)? From time to time we get customers that just can't seem to figure out why their boards don't work properly, and when we get them in to inspect them, it's painfully obvious that they have been mistreated (black, fried traces, etc.). This actually happended only a few weeks ago. We test full functionality of ALL Serializers before they leave to ensure that they are in proper working order for the customers. If you wish to send it back, we'll be glad to look at it. If it's a hardware failure due to manufacturing, we'll be glad to fix it. If it is a failure due to improper usage, then we will not warranty it. We are very fair to customers, and ALWAYS fix issues that are due to manufacturing problems. But again, if it's obvious that the board has been mistreated, then it will void all warranty. Best Regards!

Hi Jason,
That is the first time the Serializer is used, just by me, and according with specifications. I would like to send it for you. Can you pass me the directions please? What address do I send, and for who?
Thanks,
Eduardo Mendes
