Hello, everybody!

I am a new owner of the WL Serializer.

I try to communicate through the module xBee but it does not work.

I did not return to the various commands (fw, reset ...).

When I do a reset I get a lot of characters incomprehensible.

If someone can help me thank you in advance.

Sounds like there is a baud rate mismatch between the Serializer and the XBee module.

The Serializer is set from the factory to communicate at 19200.  I'm guessing the XBee module is set to communicate at 9600.  Ringo might remember what the default is.

You can either change the baud rate of the Serializer (via RS-232/USB connection), to match the XBee module baud rate, or change the XBee module to match the Serializer baud rate.   To change the XBee baud rate, I seem to remember that you have to have a development board.  Again, Ringo might know about this.

Best Regards!

Re,

Frankly bravo, which reactivity, I congratulate you and in me the choice for SerializerWL ... But be careful I have other challenge for you ^ ^

So Thank you, and your solution was the right one ... xBee modules are configured by default in 9600 ... Luckily looking at the documentation, I saw that they offer a software that allows configuration of the module: X-CTU ....
I have therefore with this software + support USB module change speed.

Thank you very much

N.B: Sorry for my poor English

Okay, it sounds like you got the baud rate matched up, and everything working.
