| How would I go about resetting the board to the default baud rate? Setting the baud rate to 115200 caused the board to stop responding to the Bluetooth interface so I am unable to use the 'cfg baud' command. Thanks,

| Hi!! The "restore" command restore all serializer parameters(serial command). But have you another way to connect the serializer (like serial ou USB). It can be bluetooth interface who lock your communication. Arnaud

| Yes, just send a 'restore' command, and it will reset everything (Baud Rate, and PID Params included) back to factory default settings. Best Regards,

| Thanks for the response. I understand the 'restore' command will return the unit to the factory defaults, however the only communications interface I have is the bluetooth module, which currently is not functioning. Hence, the catch-22. It would seem that without a RS-232 module, I have no way to communiate with the board to reset it to the factory defaults. Is this correct ?

| The Serializer and the Bluetooth module come configured from the factory at 19200 baud. So, if you haven't changed the baud rate of the bluetooth module, and you restore the Serializer back to factory settings, then your Bluetooth connection should work. If not, then there's probably a pairing issue you need to resolve. If you programmed the Bluetooth module to another baud rate, then you would need to re-program it to 19200 to talk to the Serializer default baud rate. It may be that you need a USB or RS-232 module to set the Serializer to the baud rate of your bluetooth module if you can't reprogram the baud rate on the BT module. Of course, if you changed the baud rate on the BT module before, you should be able to change it now. Best Regards,

Just talked w/ Ringo...I understand your predicament now. Here's a few options:- Send your Serializer back to us, and we'll restore it for free (and ship it back)
- Purchase an RS-232 Module/USB Module so you can restore your baud rate yourself (and if it happens again), and we'll ship it to you for free.
- If you have an RS-232 to TTL adapter, and Male/Female jumper wires, then you can connect via the TTL pins, and do the restore yourself.

| Jason, thanks for the info. I will order a serial adapter. In the meantime, it appears that the EB100 can be put into 'command' mode by sending a soft break sequence. This would allow me to change the baud rate. The default sequence is <one second of inactivity>+++<one second of inactivity>. Unfortunately, this does not appear to work. I am set to 19.2Kbps which is what the module should be set to. My question is: have you changed the soft break character to something other than '+'. Or could it be that you cannot put the EB100 into command mode over the wireless link ? Thanks,
