Hello Bleker,
Sorry to hear that your Sabertooth may be broken.
For a 10 amp dual h-bridge this looks good and is matched to
the Serializer pretty well.

Any others might require some external logic to properly connect to the
signals of the Serializer. You might look to Pololu.com for more power
handling. Read carefully though, the specs. The Pololu's only run partial power
without heat sinking and heatsinking might be difficult. For a broader
selection of h-bridge controllers you might look here.

Do be sure the device will talk TTL with the Serializer. And Like I said,
you may still require some logic circuitry to be sure the h-bridge cant get
into a short circuit state. Some of the better built ones will have that
protection built in. This is when both forward and reverse turn on
at once thus shorting across your battery. Not good.

Hi Bleker,

Do you need 25A, or can you settle for less?  Just curious, as we have a 10A h-bridge, and Pololu.com has several h-bridges.   Plus, the higher rating h-bridge you purchase, the higher the price is.  Really, any h-bridge board will work w/ the Serializer if you interface it to the h-bridge header, and disable the onboard h-bridges per the user guide.

Best Regards!
