| Hi: Has anyone tried to use or thought about using the Serializer .NET Library with the .NET Micro Framework? Just curious, Lawrence

| Lawrence, While the Serializer .NET Library will work w/ the Full and Compact .NET Frameworks, it will unfortunately not work with the .NET micro framework.  SJJ Micro (Sean D. Liming) has recently launched a cool new .NET Micro Framework Development Kit starting at $165.00 You might want to check it out! We have a few here that we'll be playing w/ soon. I know Sean just got one working w/ our Traxster Robot Kit + Serializer as we speak! Best Regards!

| Hi Jason: There is an EDK for $165 and an EDKPlus for $225. One of the differences is the second serial port. The first serial port is for programming and the second for the application to use like the Serializer. Are you working with one of the EDKPlus boards? Thanks, Lawrence

| Lawrence, Acutally, I have both. I've had the EDK for a while, but haven't found the time to get going on it, and Sean just sent me an EDK plus (we swapped products) . I'm pretty sure he's using the EDK plus with his Traxster. I think I would opt for the EDKplus, so that you don't have to continually connect/disconnect serial ports. Best Regards!

| Lawrence, I bolted the EDKPlus iPac board to my dev Traxster II this weekend, and was able to get a sample app up and working very quickly. I also started writing a Serializer MF library to work with it. I'll try to get that finished and posted next weekend, as I'm trying to the the latest release of the Serializer .NET lib finished and launched. I really like this EDKPlus board...It uses the same bolt pattern as the Serializer, so it bolts right to the top of the Traxster II (and Stinger). Also, you can utilize our 5V switching voltage regulator to power it (which also bolts to the Traxster II (and Stinger).
